Mac Daddy’s

Just across the bridge (behind Hardees), you can find Mac Daddy’s. Here you can find go karts, mini golf, escape rooms, bowling, bar, arcade, batting cages, driving range, and probably more.

Golf Courses

Our favorite and most convenient course is Star Hill (252-393-8111 Ext. 101). It’s about 10 minutes from the house and offers 27 holes of play (Lakes, Sands, and Pines). 252-247-2541

If you’re up for a drive, you can find Brandywine Bay (252-247-2541) which is about 30 minutes from the house.

For the little ones, check out Emerald Forest Mini Golf for fun for the whole family.

Escape Rooms

Our favorite Escape Room is called Cracked It. If you go over the bridge and hang a left on 24, it will be on your right in ~15 miles.

Mac Daddy’s also offers an Escape Room, but we’ve never tried it so we can’t vouch for the quality of the experience.

Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium

The Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium is roughly 30 minutes from the house and well worth the trip if you have toddler or above children. This is a perfect activity for a rainy day.

If all else fails…

We have always found Eventbrite to be a great resource when we travel. You can find anything from string quartets, live pro wrestling, classes or theater. Search around and be sure to update the dates of your stay in your search.
